I was born and bred within sight of Pendle Hill, and have lived all my life within sight of Pendle Hill. I have traced my ancestry back to the late 1500’s in Colne, my however-many-great-grandfather had an ale house there at that time, could it have been the one mentioned in the Pendle Witch Trials? Who knows, or will ever know?

It’s because of my interest in local history, folklore and witchcraft that I have been able to formulate these ghost tours and bring together Simon, Anita and Phipp as your very knowledgeable and capable guides to the Paranormal. Simon Entwistle

My name is Simon Entwistle and along with Frank Watson am co- founder of A Haunting Experience. I began conducting guided ghost, murder and mystery tours in 1996, having always taken a keen interest in the supernatural and in particular ghost stories.

I have visited some of the United Kingdom’s most haunted buildings and nothing gives me greater pleasure than taking parties on these tours.

I presented a television series on regional television called ‘Into The Unknown’, featuring Haunted Halls and Castles.

Our latest ghost hunting tour takes place on one of Great Britain’s most famous hills, a hill that has gone down in history, Pendle Hill. Pendle Hill was home to two local families who were accused of witchcraft in the year 1612. They were taken to Lancaster Castle, tried and executed by hanging on the 20th of August that year.

This tour covers not only their story but you will actually walk on Pendle Hill in the footsteps of Demdike, Device, Chattox and the rest of the so called witches. Pendle Hill itself is almost a mountain and has a very hypnotic effect. Many persons believe Pendle Hill to be haunted by the ghosts of the Witches.

First of all join us for a guided ghost walk around the historic town of Clitheroe, a town at the foot of Pendle Hill, with its Norman castle and burial grounds. Then our journey takes us to some amazing landmarks before we arrive on Pendle and begin our ghost hunt on the infamous Hill.
