Specialist Tours for photographers, writers, historians and genealogists in Lancashire and the Ribble Valley

Are you a photographer who knows the “atmospheric” photograph you want to take but cannot find the right location? If so, we can help you find it.

If you are unable to get to a location yourself we are able to take photographs for you. We have experience of all format film and digital photography. As would be expected, copyright of all images supplied would pass to the client.

Are you a writer looking for that elusive location, or doing wider research of an area? Whether it be hamlet, village or town in the Ribble valley we can help you find that “special” place. We have intimate knowledge of the Pendle and Ribble Valley areas but are available to take you further afield if you wish.

Are you a family Historian doing research? Is your research based in or around Lancashire, England? Does the thought of knowing where your ancestors spent their lives fascinate you? If you have always promised yourself a visit to the area where they lived then now is the time.

With our vast knowledge of local history and over twenty years of genealogical research, we can guide you around the places your ancestors would have known. Just tell us the area of your interest and leave the rest to us.  All we need is a broad outline of what you are seeking and we will provide you with a list of places that may fit your needs. From hamlets to ancestral homes, from canals to ancient churches, if the location is out there we will help you find it. If your subject is the Pendle Witches we have a wide specialist knowledge. We undertake tours of the:-

  • Ribble Valley and Pendle areas
  • A Pendle tour that includes Colne, Wycoller and Haworth
  • A Pendle Witch tour.
